The Library

The Library is the main focus of our little organization. We hope the LGBTQ community of Omaha will find inspiration, comfort, challenge, education, connection and more through a safe and accessible collection of LGBTQ literature.

Gratefully housed at CTRL Coffee & Cereal Bar, the Little Free LGBTQ Library exists to serve and connect the local community.

AUTHORS

Though the library’s primary function is to provide the community with access to LGBTQ literature, it also seeks to encourage and promote local LGBTQ authors and artists whenever possible.

Follow us on various social media platforms or subscribe to our newsletter for the latest updates and local author events. And if you’re a local LGBTQ author, be sure to connect with us, too!

STUDENTS and Educators

The future is built by the present, and one of the best ways to promote the future of LGBTQ literature is to support those starting out now.

The Little Free LGBTQ Library seeks to support local students through a growing network of professionals — and eventually through scholarship funding.

Education isn’t possible without the tireless work of academics and educators, and to that end, the LGTBQ Library also believes in investing in those who invest in our future.
